I randomly met the lovely Maria in a changing room, one Thursday afternoon. After a quick conversation about dress alterations, she gave me her details to stop by with my dress. Maria made the necessary changes to my dress, whilst we chatted away in her beautiful work space. Maria did an excellent job of altering my wedding dress for me last summer. I had a last minute panic that it wasn't going to fit and thought I'd have to buy a whole new dress. Checked before leaving off a new organic cotton top that Marie had an overlock to use shortening the sleeves. She confirmed she had. The pictures of the returned garment show poorest workmanship, and that no overlock was used. No small courtesy of an apology even. It does not surprise me that her expensive repairs are charged for in advance. Service: Alterations
